We offer nail trims at our Arlington Heights location on Tuesday through Saturday. We always check (and trim) nails.

We have a designated grooming room where our trained staff will groom your parrot. We always groom your parrot with two staff members: one safely holds your parrot and the other performs the grooming service.

Prepare For Grooming:

  • Call ahead to schedule an appointment.
     
  • Browse in-store for parrots or products while you wait!




Grooming And Boarding Entrance:

Enter the store through our Grooming and Boarding entrance located on the east side of our building. There is a parking lot located on the east side of the building, off of Miner Street.

Darwin’s been getting his nails trimmed at Parrot Stars for a few years now, and they always do an amazing job! I love that they have a good system that keeps outside birds separated from their birds to prevent any cross-contamination. They were very quick and kind!

We always come back for nails and wings trim.  The staff always asks what type of wing trim we want and the nails are done perfectly.  Say goodbye to those sharp nasty nails and hello to nice smooth ones!

I cannot be more satisfied and grateful for such amazing experiences we have every time we got to the store. We took our sun conure for nail clipping and they did an amazing job! He came back so happy. I love that we get to see the other bird while our little one is getting his pedi done. This place is AMAZING!

The team at Parrot Stars always take great care of our 2 birds when it comes to
Grooming and boarding.  When boarding it can lead to anxiety dropping your feathered friends off, but with the folks at Parrot Stars we know they will receive quality attention and care.  We bought our 2 birds from the store over the past 4 years and every time we bring them in for a service it’s like a little reunion with their original family.  I am thankful we do not live too far from the store.

We use the boarding service quite a bit for our parakeet, Max. We couldn't be happier with the service. Short or long trips have been easy and Max shows no signs of stress. Grooming is great too! So glad to have Parrot Stars in Arlington Heights!
