Adult Parrot Adoption - SludgeMeet Sludge– A Olive Quaker Parrot
In his previous home, some less-than-ideal habits were unintentionally reinforced, so Sludge doesn’t quite know what’s expected of him yet. But the great news is that he is extremely food motivated and will almost certainly thrive with positive reinforcement training. With patience, consistency, and kindness, he has incredible potential to blossom into a well-mannered and deeply bonded companion.
Sludge is in excellent health, fully flighted, and loves to stretch his wings. He’s energetic, playful, and eager to engage with the world around him.
Sludge's ideal home will be with a family who:
-
Is ready to guide him with patience, structure, and positive reinforcement
-
Values enrichment, out-of-cage time, and safe opportunities for flight
-
Is committed to a long-term relationship with a clever, sometimes cheeky, but always entertaining parrot
Sludge has so much love and laughter to give, and he just needs the right person or family to show him how to thrive.
