Help Us Raise $10,000 for Parrot Conservation!!

There are 374 parrot species in the world. 116 of them are vulnerable to extinction.

Conservation is key to the Parrot Stars mission. That's why we're working to raise $10,000 in donations for One Earth Conservation. This non-profit organization fights to end the poaching and illegal trading of wild birds and conducts transformative wildlife conservation across North and South America.

When it comes to preserving biodiversity and protecting wild parrot species from endangerment, every dollar counts. $10 can protect a nest for 1 day, $50 can buy critical medical treatments for sick parrots, and $100 can buy field supplies for a parrot ranger for an entire year.

Help us reach our goal of $10,000. Every donation is tax-deductible, and will go directly to this boots-on-the-ground organization working each and every day to preserve and protect wild parrots.

Robert D Ness, DVM, CAC, CVA

Ness Exotic Wellness Center, Lisle IL 630-737-1281

Robert Ness graduated from the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1990 with a strong interest in Avian & Exotic Pet Medicine. Dr. Ness began his career in an all avian and exotic pet practice right after graduation. Frustrations grew over the limitations of standard conventional care for chronic diseases and common problems encountered in his patients early on in his career. In his pursuit to offer a more complete and cohesive practice of veterinary medicine Dr. Ness began exploring the realm of holistic medicine at an early stage and continues to add new modalities by extrapolating these techniques in birds and exotic pets. Over the years, he has lectured and authored on subjects pertaining to exotic pet medicine, particularly in the realm of integrative medicine. He is presently one of the few practitioners in the country practicing holistic therapy for avian and exotic pets.
